artist bio
Music has always been Piero Esteriore’s passion. He demonstrated exceptional musical talent at an early age of six. After 9 years and a lot of hard work, Piero mastered the piano, guitar, and drums. At the age of 15 he went to the music academy in Basle Switzerland. In that extremely intense year he learned how to play 4 new percussion instruments: xylophone, kettledrum, vibraphone and marimba. I Ragazzi di oggi, Piero’s first band, performed for 8 years. After their parting, his second band, I non Stop, played 4 years. This outgoing performer comes from a family of artists and musicians where music plays a major role in their lives. “I must have inherited my musical talent from my parents” reflects the extroverted professional. In 1995, Piero, with the love and support of friends and family produced and wrote all the lyrics for his debut album “Passa Il Tempo”. Of the ten tracks released, Piero composed and arranged seven personally. Most recently, Piero finished work in the recording studio and completed a single and video with Mario Winans. Mario Winans has worked with notable artists like Fred Hammond, the Anointed, the Clark Sisters, R. Kelly, Pebbles and P. Diddy. In 2004, Winans single "I Don't Wanna Know" made it to the Top Five of Billboard's Hot 100. |
